The weather is terrible but we have entered towards the Straight of Gibraltar. We have seen several other ships in our vicinity and can now see the mountains of Africa and Spain. It is so surreal looking out and thinking that I never expected to be here at this moment looking out towards these lands. The feeling I got when I first saw the ship and reality set in is now coming back to me. It is amazing. There is heavy fog so the land is not clear but we are still able to make it out. The waves are ridiculous and probably about 7-10 feet high if not higher but thankfully we are going into the waves rather than the waves side swiping us so the boat is a lot more stable than yesterday. It takes approximately 5-6 hours to get through both lands into the Mediterranean and we should be there by tonight (I think). We are bunkering (fueling) shortly which also takes several hours (apparently) Should be an exciting rest of the day. Will update more later if I have time.
